After a couple of good hours of reading, I’ve managed to complete True Remembrance. Unlike the more well-known visual novels, this one is actually free. So don’t hesitate to head off to the English website here to pick up a copy yourself.

True Remembrance has some very lovable characters and they bounce off of each other very nicely with excellent chemistry. The story, while being quite serious during the latter half of the story (as you would imagine), has lots of funny bits here and there. I don’t think anyone’s going to laugh their heads off but you should at least have a nice chuckle or two. The pacing is very good in my opinion so you shouldn’t ever feel bored. I liked how they changed the perspective of who was telling the story in a couple of chapters, it adds a nice touch to the overall experience. Do give this one a try if you have a few hours lying around to spare.
