Outlook good for CHAOS;HEAD’s VA castings…

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

Let’s hope that they keep this up. Admittedly, while I see no reason for them not to use the original VAs, you never know what might happen…

Anime adaptation for CHAOS;HEAD in the works…

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

Yes! This is one of the best piece of news I’ve heard this year!

The official site is live at chaoshead.jp.

There also seems to be an aside that either states that there’s going to be a second manga adaptation or something or another. Updates to follow once I’ve confirmed this.

Update: Okay, so from what I understand, Nagako Sakaki (沙垣長子) will be working on this second adaptation (you can see her name in the image above). I’m assuming that Sakaki is a female since Nagako ends with a ‘ko’ (子) and that’s a common “ending” for Japanese female names. The story will be focusing primarily on Sena and Kozue and is intended to be a side story of sorts compared to the first adaptation (which is meant to adapt the story that’s told in the visual novel).

Customizing that Eclipse toolbar…

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008

Did you ever wish your toolbar looked like this?

Or maybe you’ve always wanted an Eclipse lite or something?

Please voice your opinion on the issue on bug 64746. While the bug is about forcing the presence of both text and images for org.eclipse.ui.actionSets contributions, I suspect a workbench-wide setting in the preferences to switch between the three options would probably need to be supported to please the RCP crowd.

ラタトスクの騎士 completed…

Tuesday, July 15th, 2008

Well, I just completed 「ラタトスクの騎士」 with Jacky’s help a little while ago. I was playing it on normal so I’m probably going to be replaying it on hard in the near future. Yes, there are two separate endings. After the final boss battle, there’ll be another fight with Emil against two other persons. Defeating them will net you the bad ending and conversely, losing the battle will net you the good ending.

Oh, and if anyone’s trying to figure out how to activate them 秘奥義s, you need to equip your character with the “スペシャル” skill, and then hold down on the B button after activating a advanced/high level tech attack. In Emil’s case, you can activate his after using 秋沙雨. It may work for other tech attacks, but I’ve only tried that one. I usually hit the B button again and then hold it down after using the B button to activate the “original” tech attack. It supposedly works with one just holding down the B button the whole way through but I haven’t tried.

And in case you’re wondering how long it took me, my total play time was about 33 hours. This would probably be a lot shorter if I figured out how to activate 秘奥義s before the final battle, but anyway…

Oh no they didn’t…

Is this going to be another title that will validate my clever purchase of an NDS over a PSP?
