「魔法使いの夜」発売延期につきまして

　弊社より本年9月30日に発売を予定しておりました「魔法使いの夜」におきまして、諸般の事情により、発売を延期させていただくことになりました。本作の発売をお待ちいただいているユーザーの皆様におかれましては、ご迷惑をおかけいたしますことを深くお詫び申し上げます。

　新たな発売予定は”今冬予定”とさせていただき、後日改めて告知いたします。
大変お待たせすることになりますが、何卒ご了承くださいますようよろしくお願い申し上げます。

Well, I don’t think anyone can seriously say they’re surprised about this as visual novels seem to get delayed all the time.

We’re looking at a September 30th release for this year at the moment. It’s priced at 8,400 yen which is about the amount I would expect from a visual novel. Since I’m going out of my way to mention the price, yes, I am considering picking this up.

This will probably be the first and last Type-Moon visual novel I read.

The loading times are rather abysmal otherwise if you ask me.

As to the game itself? I’m really enjoying it so far. I love the setting, the lore, and the music. The action is your standard fare but I’m liking the danmaku parts. ;)

The new game looks like a pretty big reboot given the new setting and character designer. I was praying for divine Mutsumi Sasaki intervention but I’m quite pleased with how these designs turned out from Shizuki Morii. I’ll be keeping an eye on this for sure.
