I like being able to check mail when there’s free wi-fi available but otherwise am not too sure how much I’ll use its other capabilities. I guess I don’t think the world of it because I don’t have any applications on it yet.

As to why I asked for a new iPod, it’s because my first generation (it’s a first according to Mark anyway) Nano’s battery was really starting to die out. By that I mean its battery couldn’t even give me 45 minutes of playtime, actually, I think it may not even last 30 minutes…

I finished it last week and would highly recommend it to anyone that is interested in the supernatural, mysteries, and crime. It’s not too long and the prose is easy to read and feels natural despite having gone through the translation turbine.

First order of business of course is to pick up CAGNET’s “Close to You” from the Japanese drama Long Vacation again. For my readers from my days at Chaminade, I played that song during one of our House competitions and is really the only song I ever bothered to memorize by heart.

After I’ve got that down again I’ll just move on to whatever other random songs I feel like trying out.
