Well, I’m typing this out on my own notebook at the moment. It hasn’t crashed (yet), so that’s (somewhat of) a good sign. I’m glad I got this back before the long weekend since it means I can (finally) get back to CHAOS;HEAD and hopefully complete it over the break. :)

In case anyone is wondering, my notebook broke again so I do not have regular Internet access anymore. I have no idea when it’ll get fixed, so don’t ask. I’ll try to check my email once a day if possible.

I received my shipment from CDJapan today and boy, am I pleased or what? The sole reason I went through them instead of Amazon this time was because they were going to bundle a B2 poster along with any first press orders. I’ve never gotten anything like that from Amazon. This naturally piqued my interest (since I’m a sucker for merchandise) and of course, once I saw the cover of the single, I wasted no time in filling out an order.
Unfortunately, I don’t have my camera on me so I can’t take any photos. :(

Well, it easily took me well over ten hours but I’ve finally finished Coco’s route. The method in which the writers meld all of the storylines into one narrative is really very smart and the way in which the plot unfolds is equally brilliant. Whenever new information arises to explain something, a new mystery is also presented. This keeps the reader guessing all the way through to the end. What’s also cool is that there are some random hints populated throughout the game that actually leads the reader astray purposely to maximize the shock value to the readers.
I’d highly recommend this visual novel to anyone that has the patience to sit through all the text that this game has, it’ll definitely be worth your while.
I haven’t gone through any of the game’s bad endings yet though I’m not sure if I’m going to get to those right away as I’m planning to shift my focus to CHAOS;HEAD and replaying FFXII instead.

I’ve been working on Coco’s route in Ever17 for a while and it’s pretty much driving me insane. A lot of really shocking stuff has been revealed thus far but there are still many unsolved mysteries left. There’s also a feeling on the back of my head that’s causing me to doubt the recent revelations I’ve been presented. It could all just be a charade after all, I don’t know.
I should be done tomorrow, I’ll report back then.

The CD single for “Find the blue” is now available at the usual place. I highly recommend you give the single a try as both songs are very good.
I have to admit that it is proving difficult for me to get used to the full version of “Find the blue” since I’ve heard it so many times in its shortened form from rewatching CHAOS;HEAD’s opening sequence. This is a frequent problem I encounter since I always get too used to the shortened version of an opening or ending theme from repeatedly listening to it.
The B-side of the single, “Desire Blue sky”, is a totally different story though. The song is really, really good. I’ve been listening to it quite a bit since yesterday.
Like with most CD rip releases, the single isn’t actually out yet, it will be on the 7th though. I have an order with CDJapan and should be getting my copy early next week at the latest.

I never thought I’d purchase any figures but I guess we all surprise ourselves sometimes.
I mean, you can’t possibly say no after seeing her cute face. Don’t you just want to set her proudly next to your monitor? I know I do.
I also considered getting a second figure with this order (you know, if you buy one, might as well buy two, right? Actually, that doesn’t really make any sense, but anyway…), namely, the Kureha one from Kotobukiya, but, eh, I don’t know. I really like her pose but something about her face just bothers me. Unfortunately, the MAX FACTORY one has long been sold out, so that wasn’t an option. Oh well, if I ever consider getting another figure, I’m sure I can just tack it onto this order, I mean, it’s not like I’ll be getting my Miku one anytime soon with its September release. Yeah, that’s right, it’s coming out in September…and preorders just started a few days ago, what a world. These figures go out fast I guess.
Anyway, there are a few more pictures of Miku at GSC’s official website if you’re interested and more elsewhere if you just google around a little.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, I made my order through the Kid Nemo Company.

It is time, to enter, the world of Ever17 -the out of infinity-.
This visual novel’s supposed to have mad plot twists, I will have to see it to believe it.

They’ve made a plethora of wallpaper images available for download from the official website, so you should go and take a look see at that if your screen size is 1600×1200 or smaller. People like me running on a 1920×1200 resolution are not so lucky though. Some clever cropping and background “space” filling may be in order to stretch the image to that size properly.
I’ve also managed to secure the CD cover for “Find the blue”, the game’s opening single.
I haven’t laid down an order yet but I think I will.

I cried, again…
I actually had accidentally spoiled myself of its emotional climax when I was jumping around. My original intent was to get a grasp of the storyline in question but as you can see, that didn’t really work out.
So you know, I thought, hey, I’ve got my manly wall setup around my heart now since I know what’s coming, I’m not going to be affected by this, no sir.
Yeah, just no. That was absolutely painful, I need to stop doing this to myself. I ought to take a break away from sad stories.
